The Importance of Having Adaptability When Pressing

Introduction:

Fluidity is a common concept most typically talked about when a team is in possession. Fluidity simply refers to the ability of players to move and interchange positions while adopting new roles within their structure. It is much less common for people to refer to fluidity in the defensive phase and in our case the pressing part of the defensive phase.

Fluidity when pressing is a vital concept for any team who wants to be proficient when looking to win the ball back higher up the field. The three ways we will talk about fluidity will be in reference to these three situations and ideas.
